Olga Laura Cardoza is actively fighting for issues that directly affect the daily quality of life for families across Precinct 146:
Advocating for aggressive ditch clearance, culvert upgrades, and regional retention ponds along Dicker Rd and neighborhood streets to prevent flash flooding during heavy rains.
Working with the City of Pharr and Hidalgo County to install bright LED streetlights and continuous sidewalks for our children walking to and from neighborhood PSJA ISD campuses.
Protecting public education funding, expanding dual-language programs, and securing safe after-school programs and sports leagues for local youth in Pharr and San Juan.
Bringing mobile health screenings, prescription assistance workshops, and reliable transportation options for our elderly neighbors to reach medical clinics.
Fighting against voter suppression laws, providing rides to Pharr DRC for seniors, and making sure bilingual voter assistance is available at every ballot box.
Organizing regular community cleanup drives, tire disposal drop-offs, and advocating for upgraded equipment and shade canopies in our local neighborhood parks.

Olga Laura Cardoza is an active grassroots leader, community advocate, and proud Democratic Precinct Chair for Precinct 146 in Hidalgo County.
As a member of the Hidalgo County Democratic Party County Executive Committee (CEC) and an appointee to local civic boards including the City of Pharr Community Development Council, Olga works tirelessly to ensure that working families in our neighborhoods have a powerful, respected voice in local and state government.
Ensuring every eligible neighbor is registered, knows their polling location at Pharr DRC, and has the assistance needed to cast their ballot safely.
Working closely with Pharr, San Juan, and Hidalgo County leaders on street lighting, drainage improvements, and safe routes for our kids.
Connecting seniors, veterans, and young families directly to county resources, social programs, and civic empowerment workshops.
